backdown volumes
Every disk and partition on this machine: what's on it, and what BackDown can do with it (read-only; needs no root).
On this page
backdown volumes [OPTIONS]Options
--json- Print it as JSON, for scripts.
Also takes the global options --db and --local.
Good to know
Reads sysfs, udev and mountinfo on Linux, diskutil on macOS and the storage cmdlets on Windows. It never mounts or writes anything, says what BackDown can do with each partition (mountable, mounted, system, encrypted, part of a volume group, swap, empty), and marks the volumes an existing index covers.
