Privacy policy
This covers the website, backdown.io. The BackDown app itself makes no network requests and sends nothing to us.
Early-access list
If you join, we store your email address and the language of the page you signed up on. We use them to send you one email when BackDown is ready, and for nothing else. We never share or sell your address, and we delete it on request.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Matomo, running on our own server. It sets no cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites, and the numbers aren't shared with anyone. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the counting script isn't loaded at all.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, at any time. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
